About this design
Hearts stand for love for the people we remember, which is why they are popular on family ofrendas and also at weddings and anniversaries.
How to cut this template
- Download the PDF and print it at 100% on letter-size paper.
- Stack two to four sheets of tissue paper behind the template.
- Fold everything in half along the long dashed line, then again along the short one, template on the outside.
- Clip the layers and cut away the gray areas, starting with the bottom edge.
- Unfold slowly, fold the top band over a string and glue it.
Tips
- Quarter folds make thick stacks: use only two sheets of tissue at a time.
- The sun in the middle is cut through both folds, so line up the folded corner exactly.
- Open the sheet halfway after cutting to check the first fold before unfolding it completely.
